Step 1: Screening
- Referral:
- A referral can be made by your GP or through self-referral.
- o Please note: We are a private, fee-paying clinic and do not accept NHS referrals.
- Screening Questionnaire:
- You will be asked to complete a questionnaire to help us determine if our services are suitable for your needs.
- If we feel your difficulties would be better addressed in a general psychiatry clinic, we will advise you accordingly.
Assessment Process

Step 1: Information Gathering
- Our support staff will assist you in sharing any relevant information about your past treatments and assessments.
- Additional questionnaires will be sent to you for completion to provide more insight into your challenges.

Step 2: Psychiatric Consultation
- You will meet with one of our psychiatrists for a detailed assessment of your difficulties.
- Following the consultation, your case will be reviewed with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to develop a personalised diagnosis and treatment plan.
Treatment
- The psychiatrist will explain the findings, diagnosis, and recommended treatment plan in detail during a second review session.
- Medical treatment will be initiated by the psychiatrist, and the cost is included in the fee.
- If additional treatments, such as psychological therapy or occupational therapy, are recommended, these will incur extra charges.
Fees
The fee for this comprehensive service is £700, which includes:
- Initial consultation with the psychiatrist
- MDT input into the management plan
- Second review with the psychiatrist to explain the treatment plan
This streamlined process ensures that every patient receives a thorough and personalised approach to their mental health care.
